Customer Reviews on TrustPilot

1. Mrs Ausra Rojek
Awful experience
“Today I visited B&M store in Manchester road near Asda. I feel so angry. I took 2 boxes of Bournville chocolate fingers because under them it was 0.59p. I was in the rush and didn’t take a good look what says on that red price label. I thought they are reduced. When I paid at the till I checked the receipt and found that they been charged £1 each. Straight away I went to the shelf where I took them to double check the price. That price under them was for different item. Then I went to the till and explained that and said that I would like to return them because I thought they are on reduced prise. The lady at the till was nice to me but she couldn’t to take it from bill. She called manager and explained to him what’s happened and that I just bought them. Manager went to look at the shelf then brought labels with 0.59 p and £1 and and in not nice voice told me that these biscuits cost £1 each. Me and the lady at the till tried to explain him that I thought they are 0.59p each and for that reason I would like to return them. But the manager just said that he can’t refund because these biscuits gone through the till. And it is their policy that food they can’t refund. His voce and manners were not nice at all.He didn’t want to listen to the lady at the till when she tried to tell that I didn’ t go out of the shop when recognised price. He repeated again that it is their policy and went away. This incident made me very upset. And I think I will choose Home Bargains next time instead which is next to B&M and staff are more polite and nicer.”

2. Valerie
Unsatisfied customer service.
“Yesterday my friend and I went to b&m coleraine store to do xmas shopping for our grandchildren. Between us £200 was spent. A toy (doll&horse) set was priced at £20 when we went through the till we were charged £24.99. When we queried it a male member of staff (not a manager) who was so ignorant said you are not getting it. By trading standard if the price in front of the toy is £20 then that’s the price you pay. Because we spent a lot of time picking the presents it would have been a waste of our day to give it all back. We love this store but after our experience yesterday 30/10/20 we will not be back.”
