- Originally formed as part of Westland’s Engineers Ltd in 1948, as part of a diversification strategy away from military products, Garador Limited was setup to manufacture one-piece garage doors.

“I bought a Garador Horizon Canopy door in 2011 from TheGarageDoorKing.co.uk.
The torsion cable had come loose and jammed the door, I rang TheGarageDoorKing who disowned responsibility and referred me to Garador. Gardor in turn disowned any responsibility, referring me back to TheGarageDoorKing.
Garador sales brochure deceptionally claim to provide, quote
“The door mechanism and steel frame (if applicable) is covered by the 10 year
warranty period.”.
Unquote, I hereby rename their motto to:
“Deceiving Garage Door owners in the UK since 1952” “

“I had a new electric door fitted in november 2019. It was a very good experience and I was really pleased.
It was fitted very quickly on the day promised. I would highly recommend them.
The guy who gave me a quote was very thorough”

“Sadly this was not the experience I would expect from a professional company..The quality of the door was poorly made with a 10mm gap surrounding the frame.. After asking them to resolve this Laura passes the responsibility to the manufacturer who said the door was made to specifications.. This is not a cheap door at over £600 Definitely not worth the money!!”
