September 2020-Great staff and food
“Still here unfortunately leaving tomorrow Staff are so friendly and attentive. Food great, will definitely be back x Loved every moment. Did archery and shooting, Roomy very clean, entertainment good.”

September 2020-Not what we expected!!!
“Massive issues need to be addressed . Many waited for service/meals up to 2 hours, as we did. Never saw any Management support , when the staff were obviously very stressed. .Not enough staff for the number of guests We found. 99% of the staff friendly and welcoming. Sad to see a couple in tears, with diners asking why they had to wait so long. First meal (Monday Evening) very good quality. We feel the next few days did not live up to our expectations. Beautiful Building and Grounds, Rooms Good. Dont think we would return . We were also charged for a bottle of expesive wine on the first night.., that we did not order. They just for your room number….. We kept a record of our bar orders”

Waiter (Former Employee) – Nottingham, Nottinghamshire – 5 December 2019 (1/5)
“Avoid thoresby at ALL costs, but don’t know what other Warner’s are like.
Absolutely dreadful only have about 10-15 people for a shift, expect you to cope with 40+ cover whilst working 13+ days in a row. Fellow team members were all excellent and is the only thing I miss about the place. You also have to put up with managers who aren’t trained at all. It’s that bad in the morning spa girls are having to help clear plates. Plenty of times I’ve seen people walk out during shift or have broken down crying.”

SENIOR SOUS CHEF (Current Employee) – Nottinghamshire – 25 August 2019 (1/5)
“Too many chiefs
Would be great but management pick on silly things and leave the real problems. Lots back stabbings ……
All frozen food just open box. Dont like free thinking team players.”

Pro

  • Secure

Cons

  • No music allowed for fun
