Employee Reviews

  1. 8 April 2019

“Good company, but needs to look after staff a bit better”

Current Employee – Anonymous Employee in Leeds, England

Pros

  • Interesting work (HVAC industry is continuously evolving)
  • Majority of people are good hard working people
  • State of the art facility (brand new factory, only built in 2016)

Cons

  • Annual salary increases (when they happen) are minimal, despite the company currently going through a very profitable period
  • HR dept are not the fastest. Quite often you have to chase them two or three times for something that has already been agreed.
  • HR depth

Advice to Management

  • Look after staff better. Make them feel valued.
  • Plenty of talented people doing jobs that they have outgrown. Promote these people into more challenging roles & backfill these vacancies with talented people from the shop floor (of which there are quite a few)
  • PDP system needs a total revamp or to be scrapped altogether. No point setting employees’ targets if they are not going to be rewarded when they hit those targets.
