1. 29 January 2020
Current Contractor – Production and Warehouse Member in High Wycombe, England
“I have been working at Airflow Developments for less than a year

Pros
Everyone was friendly and approachable, the MD and Ops director along with many others took time out to talk to me and ask how things were going. I need to praise the warehouse staff, engineering department and production team for making me feel so welcome…. there are many more people I would wish to thank but it’s too long to list individually, they know who hey are. Thank you Airflow.

Cons
Wages were not great but I worked for an agent so got what was expected.

Advice to Management
Please look after the people you have, they are awesome, I wish I could have come onboard full time but unfortunately that was not to be. You could be on to something great with what you have at HW”

1. 20 Nov 2018
Current Employee – Technical Sales Engineer in High Wycombe, England
“I have been working at Airflow Developments full-time (Less than a year)

Pros
Excellent relationships between staff, Tolerable management perspective, (some are actually excellent, but you have to have worked with truly bad management to appreciate this ) reasonable salary , KPI targets largely achievable… it would be a bit pointless if it was too easy…..

Cons
over time might be nice, but only where workload and timescale demands, not just because you turn up early or leave late . Inherited flaws in process and approach are hard to resolve quickly. (but at least are looked at when recognized and documented sensibly )”

Former Employee – Anonymous Employee
“Doesn’t Recommend
Negative Outlook
I worked at Airflow Developments full-time

Pros
The office and warehouse teams are great. Nice people that are helpful and generally kind to one another. Modern offices that are in decent repair. Great IT department keeps software up-to-date, constantly monitoring and maintaining the servers. Engineering team is a great group of people working to improve the products and create new ones.

Cons
There is a distinct culture of bullying from the top down.
Top management are often rude and overbearing to their employees. They assign blame quickly without knowing all of the facts. It is apparent that only their opinions matter, and the rest of the staff must fall in line or face termination.
Top management often fail to correct problems that come from department heads or team leaders, instead placing blame on the rest of the employees.
The office and warehouse teams are overworked and underpaid, as they deserve much more credit and appreciation than they get for their efforts.
Office and warehouse employees are not paid enough for their efforts, knowledge, or experience, with little to no improvement or increase over time. There is no overtime pay, despite how many hours put in.
There is very little promotion from within. Outside hires often come in without product or procedure knowledge, putting a great burden on the teams they are over.
The system of Key Performance Indicators is often misleading, unfair, and weighted to reflect too much extra work for too little reward. If one thing is missed, the entire KPI line item is lost, rather than providing a percentage to reflect the actual work and effort.

Advice to Management
The workplace has an obligation to provide its employees with as much of a stress free environment as possible, by law.
As such, the management style needs a complete overhaul. Profanity and bullying have no place in a good office environment.
Rather than rule by shouting or intimidation, lead by good example and encourage your employees to be their best.”
