- Learned good boat building skills across a number of disciplines, regardless of which trade you are hired into.
- The skilled workers were the absolute backbone of this company.
Cons
- Underpaid for the skilled work you were doing.
- Complete or half-hearted disregard for health and safety procedures.
- Complete disorganization from the head office, especially when dealing with new employees.
- Individuals with specialty trade skills were placed in different trades entirely.
- Supervisors would mistreat employees and often turn up inebriated, as did some other of the employees to get them through the day.
