• The company continues to manufacture products for customers in the UK and abroad.
• Since the competition in the industry is challenging, the company continues to invest in research and development projects.
• They are not only looking at enhancing existing income streams but are developing new products and advance their global sourcing of components and materials and also continue to develop and expand their activities abroad.
• There are ongoing discussions with Helical Funwick to exit the joint venture. • • • Management intends to commence collective consultations across the business with a potential 47 roles to be at risk of redundancy, as – according to Alistair Morris (MD) – the fallout from the pandemic has been dramatic and within the space of April and May their order book has fallen by over 20 per cent.
