What is the prospect’s strategy and ambitions?

Strategic goals & decisions:

The Group is continuing to build critical mass across its core sectors of maritime, energy and mining. The business established a presence in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, to facilitate the provision of contractor services to clients in the region.

Liquidity of the business remains sufficient. The directors continue to explore additional funding options, to ensure that the business has sufficient liquidity to facilitate the increased trading activity, particularly in new geographical regions.

The business is now benefiting from a period of increased activity in the energy sector, however, the directors are aware that the business is not immune from economic events.

Impact of Brexit
Although there is an appreciation that there is a level of uncertainty associated with this, no significant direct implications are expected. In mitigation of the risk, the group has incorporated a subsidiary in the Republic of Ireland to facilitate continuing trade with European Union based clients.

Future Withdrawal of the UK Construction market to devote more energy to its core sectors.

Ambitions

• To be recognised as the ‘go-to’ recruitment company by their clients and candidates
• To exceed service delivery expectations to the benefit of our clients, candidates stakeholders and employees
• Geographical Expansion mainly on an international level.

Customer Reviews

“It’s been 5 years since I started working as a consultant with WRS on 2 different projects: Yemen (an oil and gas super major, as a Drilling Supervisor) and Argentina (as a Senior Drilling Supervisor for the same company). In March 2012, it was the first time I tried to make “business” with an overseas recruiter. I will not lie, I was really cautious. But within minutes of speaking with Chris Morton-Collings (who contacted me and remained my point of contact), I received from him that “good vibe” and confidence that convinced me to begin working with Chris and WRS. My confidence in Chris and WRS proved sound. WRS tried to get the best for me. They are clear in what they want from me as a consultancy and what they can offer me. The support, but logistical and HR, is great no matter the or place, at WRS. I had no problems with contracts, travel, or payments. Everything was in time. I would firmly recommend WRS as a recruitment consultant firm.”

– Senior Drilling and Completion Supervisor, Oil and Gas Supermajor (2017)

“Andrew has taken time to thoroughly understand the people, values, working environment and business needs of BDP at the same time as establishing a personal trust with me and key members of our management team. A strong relationship that has been beneficial to both parties. Andrew is always professional in his approach, has a good understanding of the building services industry (he attended a number of CIBSE NW events during my 3 year tenure as chairman of that organisation and no doubt continues to do so) and a strong network of contacts and relationships. I look forward to working closely with Andrew and his team for many more years to come.”

– Robert Ferry Engineering Director, BDP
