What is the prospect’s strategy and ambitions?

Strategy

Growth Focused (both Organically and through Acquisition): Crossflight over the years has grown steadily and organically to develop a considerable client base. However, recent company moves depict the gradual withdrawal of exclusive organic growth and the shift to a more hybrid strategy combining the two methods, a choice functioning as a growth accelerator. Giving a tangible example based on its latest Annual Report (March 2020), the company acquired the trade and assets of Global Options Worldwide Express Limited, a reputable courier company on 16 June 2019, a fact that confirms the dual nature of growth focus within the business.

Investments in Digital Technology to elevate CEX: The company during the year ended 31 March 2020, continued to design, innovate and implement new features into the company’s software platform that continued to form the cornerstone of a high-end customer experience, intelligent routing and a platform for agile customer integration.

Differentiation Strategy as a response to High level of Competition:
The company operates in a highly competitive, demanding and ever-evolving market. A commitment towards house innovation to enhance the exceptional quality of service remains at the forefront of the company’s strategy. The company continues to develop service solutions designed specifically to meet customer requirements and in doing so, has established a loyal and substantial customer base.

COVID-19 Performance Analysis
The directors have monitored the company’s performance throughout the course of the current pandemic and undertaken extensive analysis on a wide variety of performance metrics. All metrics have experienced a significant and sustained improvement throughout the summer and the company has continued to generate positive operating profits despite less favourable conditions. The board expects these conditions to remain challenging in the short to medium term but in view of current performance and extensive liquidity, the directors have confidence that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.

Employee reviews

INDEED

1. “If you’re happy with your hardwork not being rewarded this is the company for you”
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) – Berkshire, UK – 10 May 2017

If you are not a CEO or a manager of a department with in the company individuals are treated as disposal, the company is slow to replace people leaving a heavy workload with employees not being rewarded for their hard work. Pay rises are rarely seen more chance of spotting a Dodo strolling along a beach with a cocktail in hand.

Pros
free hot drinks from an out dated machine
Cons
pay rises

2. “Not the greatest company to work for”
Courier Driver (Current Employee) – London, ENG – 30 April 2015
This company is very similar to all the other courier companies around Heathrow, but the morale in the company seems to be very low and none of the management or directors seem to want to do anything about the issue. Apart from that it’s average to work for.
